Worship at Zion
Pastor Brenda Hobson's sermon for Sunday, December 6th is entitled "Comfort for the Displaced."
Here is a picture of the stained glass panel Matthew Rogers made for his Eagle Scout Project of restoring our Zion Peace Garden. The cross is quite amazing and when you are able to be out and about again, stop some night after dark and check out how the cross reflects ambient light and appears to glow on its own. As amazing as that is keep in mind this is the very first stained glass work Matthew ever attempted! I see hope in our cross; the confident expectation of what God has promised and our strength is in God's faithfulness. We will get through this time together friends!
Nick Trunzo will be offering a luncheon size pasta takeout - including the pasta, a piece of garlic bread and 2 chocolate chip cookies for $5.00. Sauce offerings are meat and sweet (no meat). Pick-up will be Sunday, December 13th on the alley side of the church, between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. Quantities will be limited to the capability of Gramma's kitchen. You may pre-order at or call 570-421-0346. Thanking you all in advance for your support.
MIRACLES HAPPEN THRIFT SHOPPE
537A Ann Street
Stroudsburg, PA 18360
Due to the increase in the virus spread and the challenge of social distancing in the small space of the shoppe, Miracles Happen Thrift Shoppe has closed until the end of January. At that time, we will review the status of the virus and recommendations of the state for a time to reopen. There is a sign n the shoppe window that if someone is in need, they can call the church office and Barb will let Mary Beth Brush know so she can make contact and set up a time to meet the customer.
We will begin accepting donations once we reopen.
Thank you for your prayers and support as we navigate the virus.
