Worship at Zion
An important message from our pastors:
Our Zion Consistory voted to close our facility because of the Coronavirus. They will re-visit the situation and decide what to do going forward.
These are serious times but we can do this together. If for any reason you need to talk, pray or vent, just call Dave or Brenda.
Zion UCC will feature two soloists in the Zoom Worship Service on Sunday, May 24th. John B. and Erin H. will each sing a special piece for us. Dave Berryman's sermon is titled, "That's the Spirit!"
Here is a picture of the stained glass panel Matthew Rogers made for his Eagle Scout Project of restoring our Zion Peace Garden. The cross is quite amazing and when you are able to be out and about again, stop some night after dark and check out how the cross reflects ambient light and appears to glow on its own. As amazing as that is keep in mind this is the very first stained glass work Matthew ever attempted! I see hope in our cross; the confident expectation of what God has promised and our strength is in God's faithfulness. We will get through this time together friends!
MIRACLES HAPPEN THRIFT SHOPPE WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS!! PLEASE STAY SAFE!!

Our Zion daffodils (which Lauren Donovan posted a picture of on Facebook) seemed to be the right tonic for us during our absence from each other. Below is a poem that Irene Smith posted on Facebook by William Wordsworth.
I wandered lonely as a cloud
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
